BIOGRAPHY

Don’t let looks deceive you, this pint sized beauty is a ferocious beast when there is a pole vault in the vicinity. One of the most dynamic vaulters on the scene, Alena Lutkovskaya has been earning her stripes for years. The Irkutsk, Russia native was first appreciated for her talents when she participated on the junior pole vaulting scene. In 2013, Lutkovskaya earned a silver medal at the World Youth Championships in Donetsk, Ukraine. A year later, Lutkovskaya shattered the Russian junior indoor record with a 4.50 m jump and went on to receive a gold medal for her outstanding efforts. Later in 2014, she was nominated for the female Rising Stars award, receiving recognition alongside many other emerging pole vaulting stars. In 2015, Lutkovskaya went on to eclipse her previous record, posting a 4.54 m indoor vault. Currently competing as an ANA, when she is not training in the gym, you can find Alena living the HILX lifestyle. Between site seeing and spending time with her precious Yorkshire terrier, Lutkovskaya can be found embracing the, “Where Next?” lifestyle.
